Day 2:Kampala-Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
Our adventure begins early at 7 AM, where we will transfer from Entebbe to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. After rhinos went extinct in Uganda in the early 1980s, this sanctuary now serves as a breeding ground for black and white rhinos. During our 2-hour visit, we’ll see these majestic creatures roam the 7,000 hectares of land and observe their daily behaviors.
After leaving the rhinos behind, we will continue our journey to Murchison Falls National Park, located on the shore of Lake Albert. Here, the River Nile roars through a narrow gap, creating the spectacular Murchison Falls. You will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge within the park.
