Enjoy lunch upon arrival in Uganda and then proceed by road to Jinja, the second-largest city in Uganda, known for being the source of the Nile River discovered by British explorer Speke in 1870. Along the way, admire sugar cane and tea plantations, Mabira Forest – home to monkeys, and Jinja Dam. Arrive and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Jinja (2-hour drive) to Kampala
After breakfast at the hotel, take a boat trip to the Source of the Nile Falls (about 45 minutes) and then drive to the capital city, Kampala. Upon arrival, embark on a city sightseeing tour: visit the exterior of the Kasubi Tombs, King’s Parliament, King’s Palace, and tour the Bahai Gardens, the only Bahai garden in Africa. (Sightseeing time approximately 1 hour, subject to closure on holidays or Sundays without refunds).

Day 6: Kigali (2-hour drive) to Ruhengeri
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a century-old church, and tour the city. Then, drive to Ruhengeri in the northwest of Rwanda, known as a trade center for agricultural products and a major coffee-producing area. Have lunch at a restaurant upon arrival, followed by a traditional village dance performance. This is an opportunity to learn about Rwandan culture, customs, and history through local songs and drumming.

Day 9: Gisenyi (2.5-hour drive) to Nyungwe National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Nyungwe National Park. Upon arrival, have lunch and then proceed to explore the park in the afternoon, walking along trails, crossing suspension bridges, and surrounded by various animal and bird sounds, feeling like stepping into another world. In addition to mammals and birds, the park is home to colorful butterflies, moths, and orchids.
